Great Effort

A strong Romford side deservedly progress in the cup but the Witham boys did their club proud.

Our Under 13s looked nervous at the start of this game as they knew they were playing a more experienced side. However, nobody shied away from the contact and every player dug deep to make sure Romford had to work for their win. It was Witham's first cup game at this level and this was always going to be about gaining experience rather than chasing a result.
