VISION
“To encourage a safe and positive environment to develop the players, coaches and officials of Yarnbury RFC for the benefit and enjoyment of Rugby Union for Yarnbury RFC, its guests and opponents”
Our Core Values as set out below are our aims and objectives to meet the Junior Section’s vision and aspirations, to promote the enjoyment and participation of its junior members and parents in Rugby Union and to develop the life skills of our young players.
ENJOYMENT
Encouragement and provision of a positive, fun environment for all to enjoy so people want to come to Yarnbury RFC week in week out.
DEVELOPMENT
To develop the Junior Sections playing skills, by providing qualified coaches and referees along with the best quality facilities we can offer. It’s not all about winning, but about development.
RESPECT
To promote the respect of fellow team mates, officials and fellow members. To work as a team and be inclusive of everybody. Team leaders and volunteers to be positive and dynamic role models. We welcome diversity within the club. We show commitment to the club and each other. We respect the opposition.
SAFETY
To provide a safe club environment for the participation and enjoyment of the sport, by means of best practice in child safeguarding, for the physical and mental wellbeing of each and every member.
EQUALITY
To facilitate equal opportunity for each and every player by means of coaching and playing opportunity, both on (in terms of playing time) and off the pitch.
SUPPORT
To not only provide support to the players and its membership, but to support “your club” by involvement and shared responsibility in its development and running. We are welcoming to new players.

INVESTMENT
To invest in our players by providing the highest standard of coaching and mentoring and also the continued investment in the club, its infrastructure, facilities and, provision of a strong financial base for future development.
DISCIPLINE
To encourage high levels of discipline of players, officials and members, both on and off the field. To represent the club and the sport in a positive manner at all times. To be punctual and dressed accordingly.
