The Fishermen return to Astley Park this weekend and are looking to get back to winning ways in tomorrow's clash with Bracknell as key players return to the squad. Recent matches with Bracknell have resulted in close fought affairs, with the Berkshire side usually just shading a win. Given the two teams are sitting at 8th and 12th in the league with only a five point difference separating them this fixture promises to be a closely fought game, bonus points will be a critical factor in league positioning come Saturday evening.
Team News:
Returning from illness, hooker Koree Britton comes into the front row and flanker Joe Lovell returns to the pack after performing so well at centre in recent games. JP Simonetti now makes a home game return at centre, and selectors have opted for Martin Worthington at fly-half replacing Tom Putt.
Stalwarts Russell Morris and Dominc Connor start as props, and lock Adam Thomas starts in the second row after an early exit due to injury at Bournemouth last week. Shek Sherriff is at lock and looking to gain a second Man-of-the-Match. The back row is at full strength, with regular try scorer Sam Thomas at No 8 and flankers Nathan Riley and Joe Lovell.
Noah Nash continues a great run of appearances at scrum-half, as does Jesse Lowe at centre. On the wings selectors go for Connor Bedwell on the right and Andre Simonetti on the left, Mr Consistency Tom Goodman continues at full back.
Selections for the bench, Jack Richards, Joel Armitage and Jordon Watson provide solid cover for the pack.
