Match Preview

After the first couple of games of the season it looked like Ely Hockey Club was in a bit of a crisis with its 2nds and 3rds in Div 6 and the first team losing their opening two games ( including a 4-3 loss to us). We were told that their early form is traditionally patchy and they have since gone on a run making them one of the form teams in 3NW and will pose a real challenge to Kettering’s title aspirations. Win an they will be nine points behind. All to play for then. The hosts are hoping to squeeze in a training game, or at least a training session, prior to this game.
