By the time Tuesday comes around, the need to get out and get some fresh air will be so over-powering you can't resist.

Therefore, weather permitting, head over to The Lair and watch the Lingers take on The Crows in a Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division fixture which kicks off at 19:45.

Our away fixture against them earlier in the season was a very entertaining affair from start to finish and whilst The Crows won 7-2, the score could have been different as we had our fare share, however we just didn't take them.

Dixie Dean will have fired our players up by reminding them of that game, we should go there full of confidence and expecting to get something from the match.

If none of the football reasons make you want to travel to watch the Crows, then the thought of having to hear the same old stories and moans and groans from the relatives who have now out-stayed their welcome, must make you want to!

It would be great to see as many people from the village as possible at The Lair on Tuesday , you need the fresh air, the players deserve your support, so no excuses, get the coat and scarf on and follow the Lingers.
