After the disappointment of Saturday's game at Maldon, Ware continue with their away programme by travelling to Tilbury this Tuesday. Having already beaten the Dockers at home in their second game of the season hopes will be high but since that defeat Tilbury have slowly started to put some results together.

They have now gone six league games unbeaten including a draw at league leaders Cheshunt and a home win over our current nemesis Maldon & Tiptree. As a result they are now 9th in the table with six wins and three draws from 12 games.

In the FA Cup they had a preliminary round win by 2-1 at Brentwood but lost by the same score in the next round at Step5 Felixstowe & Walton United. In the Trophy they gained a respectable 1-1 draw at Lewes of the Ryman South but lost the home replay 3-0 to the mid-table side.

Currently on their books are two ex-Ware players, Tony Martin (over 50 appearances for the club and 17 goals between August 2011 and December 2013) and Emiel Aiken (15 appearances including 4 from the bench and 2 goals in 2010/1). Neither played in Tilbury's 1-1 home draw with Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday though both have logged 13 competitive appearances this season.
