A 1-0 defeat in a very close game at Potters Bar last Tuesday is the only blot on Ware's record over their last six matches and a sufficient cause to seek revenge in this game.

Potters Bar's defeat on Saturday at AFC Hornchurch ended their own unbeaten run of eight games including most recently six consecutive wins. It was also their third game on the trot to end in a 1-0 score line and despite defeat they stay well placed in the promotion race just behind second placed Bowers & Pitsea on goal difference. With the Essex side facing a tough game at home to Heybridge on Monday a win (or even a draw) for Potters Bar could put them into an automatic promotion spot.

Under former Ware manager Steve Ringrose, Potters Bar have not only enjoyed league success but this season made good progress in both national cups. Their draw at Hereford in the FA Trophy in front of a sizeable crowd was particularly notable though they did lose the replay.

The weather doesn't look too promising for this game but we will pull out all the stops as we did on Saturday to try to make sure it goes ahead. If we are unsuccessful the game will be switched to Harlow's all-weather surface on Tuesday evening. We will keep you informed on this website and social media.
