Following the departure of John Dreyer this will be the first opportunity that Paul Halsey has had to take full responsibility for a Ware side since 2009, eleven managerial changes ago. Such is the fragility of tenure even amongst those managers who are loyal to a club.
Whether there will be any significant changes to the team will only become apparent on the day. Charlie Yexley will presumably be rested after pulling up with a hamstring at Clacton whilst Harry Ricketts will be available for selection following a social commitment on Saturday.
Ben Hart is getting back to fitness but will miss the game against his former club as will Leigh Rose who continues to be unavailable.
