One of the year's more important matches is for the second season running relegated to an inauspicious time in the fixture calendar, a Tuesday evening this time as well. Even so I'm sure there will be plenty of atmosphere at the Park for the 187th meeting of these two sides.
More particularly it will be their 44th meeting in the Isthmian League and with both sides having 15 victories we can expect another close encounter. It's a good time for Ware to introduce latest signing Harry Norman, a defender who comes into the side from Soham Town Rangers. We wish Harry well.
On Saturday Hertford came out on top in a 5-4 thriller with Bedfont Sports with a last minute goal from Elliot Bailey, famous in these parts for scoring after thirty seconds in his debut game for Ware back in our Southern League season. His current team will want to continue their winning streak whilst Ware are looking to get back to winning ways after two tough meetings with Step 3 sides.
