The visit of Westfield is the start of a taxing period for Ware's players, the first of three or maybe four games that will test their resolve and ability to make it into the play-offs.

The visitors have won six and drawn one of the seven games since their last defeat - away to Bracknell on the first day of 2019. The run has taken them to fourth in the table, two places and three points ahead of Ware with a game in hand as well.

We lost our first ever meeting with Westfield on the second Saturday of the season despite taking a two-goal lead so we know not to take them lightly. Our first goal came early enough to elevate us to top of the division for a few minutes.

Last week Westfield won 4-0 at home to Uxbridge whilst we were beating South Park 6-1 so if it's goals you want Wodson Park ought to witness them this Saturday. You certainly won't get them in the Premier League which has the weekend off so why not persuade a friend or neighbour who normally watches PL games to come along.

Added to Ware's front line this week has been Tommy Wade though he will probably have to start on the bench for this game.

What the programme won't tell you is that the Under-16s now have a friendly on Sunday at home to Potters Bar at 10am. That's in addition to the Under-18s home league game with Peterborough Sports at 1.30pm in what looks like a crucial league match. Entry for both games is free and there's food, drink and TV in the bar.
