Farsley Celtic return to league action tonight as they welcome Yorkshire rivals Scarborough Athletic to Throstle Nest. Farsley have lost just one game so far, a 1-0 defeat at Trafford in the league which leaves The Celts in 8th place albeit just three points off the top. Farsley have also secured three wins in the FA Cup as well to progress to the third qualifying round where they will host Bishop Auckland from the Northern League. Farsley will once again be without the services of injured defender Adam Clayton, whilst James Knowles continues his battle to return to fitness. New signing Jacob Hazel could be in line for his home debut after making a cameo appearance off the bench in Farsley's 2-0 victory over Tadcaster Albion at the weekend.
Scarborough come into this game off the back of a 3-2 win over Radcliffe Borough, winning their last two games as they aim for a pick up in form. Scarborough Athletic currently lie in 5th place one point ahead of The Celts, however they have currently played two more games. Scarborough could welcome back Matty Bloor to the side, however they have no apparent injury concerns.
So why not come down and cheer on your local team, the admission prices are £7 adults, £4 concessions, £1 for accompanied juniors.
