4 games in 7 days await Didcot Town for the final week of the season and it's a tough test first up as the Railwaymen travel to second placed Salisbury on Saturday (3pm Kick Off). The 'Whites' were the pre-season favourites for promotion and have barely been out of the top 2 places all season although they like the rest of us have been someway behind champions Taunton Town this season. 5 points is the difference between them and 3rd placed Wimborne Town with 3 to play for both sides so Salisbury still require points to try and secure automatic promotion to the Southern Premier League.

As for Didcot we due to not playing have now dropped to 9th place 4 points off the playoff spots with 2 games in hand on some of the teams above us. A spirited performance in the Challenge Cup Final on Wednesday again showed the capability of the current squad to match sides from higher up the pyramid and Didcot will be boosted by their record against the better sides in the South West. Didcot having already beaten Salisbury this season with an excellent 3-1 home win and the Railwaymen will need a similar if not better performance to come away from Wiltshire with crucial points.

As for team news manager Andy Ballard has Callum McNish back from a suspension and he will return to the matchday squad which means only Sam Elkins is unavailable. With 4 games in a week there is almost certainly going to be some squad rotation over the coming days as Didcot look to try and finish as strongly as possible.
