Holyport make the trip to the ASM stadium tomorrow to face new comers Thame Rangers tomorrow.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides and Thame Rangers will be looking to kick start their league campaign after only securing one point today which was in an away draw to Chinnor. Holyport managed to secure their first points of the season with an emphatic 8-1 win at home on Tuesday night against Chalfont Wasps.
Rake and Rolfe were delighted with the sides response after suffering a 6-1 loss just days earlier away to Sandhurst Town. Rake commented to the local press... “We have a few players back and available now and that makes a difference. Four have not played much at all and we were missing a few on Saturday.
“It was a great performance against Chalfont and we took all our chances, so it was fantastic. Normally you miss a few but the scoreline says it all and I thought we thoroughly deserved to win"
The squad will be slightly different tomorrow as Ovens, Finnlinson and Lowther are unavailable but Hedges and Bradley come back in. Holyport know that they need to back up Tuesdays result with another solid performance if they want to gain anything from their visit to Thame.
