Robins host Reds
The final away match of the regular season takes Reds to Derbyshire for a second successive Saturday and a tough assignment at Ilkeston (3pm).
It is another crucial fixture and one which could determine who finishes where in the play-off shake-up. Indeed, the clubs could face each other again in either the semi or the final itself.
First things first, though, and, to prevent another four hour plus journey on the morning of the match, Reds will leave on Friday afternoon with the entire squad expected to travel.
Ilkeston, the premier division’s top scorers, have had an excellent season despite slipping to fourth position. They will be keen to avenge their 2-0 defeat at Borough Park last month, which ended a very impressive nine match unbeaten run.
Manager Gavin Skelton will check on the fitness of a couple of players before deciding on his line-up, but has plenty of options for the 4th v. 2nd encounter.
Reds last visited the New Manor Ground (DE7 8JF) five years ago, with supporters travelling this time opting for fancy dress – a tradition reserved for the final away game.
