The Jammers return to action in the newly formed, Bostik league with an away trip to reprieved Hertfordshire outfit, Ware.

With ex Jammers, Junior Appiah & Marcus Milner in their ranks Ware are now managed by Kem Kemal and they will be keen to improve on last season’s record. Ware have had a mixed pre-season, playing six games and winning two of them.

A new-look Maldon side, will be led by the experienced Matt Lock, with the support of Curtis Haynes-Brown & Gavin Greenfield who have been retained from last season’s playing squad.

With three promotion positions available this season, the league will be as competitive as ever, combined with the standard of teams who will compete in this years Bostik North division, following the introduction of Canvey Island, AFC Sudbury & Grays Athletic after their relegation from the Premier Division.

Fingers crossed Kevin Horlock & Mark Levey will be able to spur their newly looking side on and eventually go one step further on last season.

The Jammers will go in to the game with a bunch of fresh faces, however none of them have yet been announced. Watch this space over the coming days as Boss, Horlock looks to announce some of his new additions to his 2017/18 playing squad.
