On Tuesday evening , The Brewers play their latest league game at home to Clipstone.
In their first season in the NCEL Premier after being promoted as champions last year, the Cobras stand in 10th place with 50 points from 32 games played.
Away from home, they have had 7 wins and 4 draws from their 14 games played. Alec Denton is their leading goalscorer with 29 goals in all competitions.
The away game back at Clipstone in September was a 2-2 draw with a very late goal from Josh Greening to get a point after a goal earlier by George Conway. The Brewers were 2-0 down at half time.
Last Saturday, Clipstone were beaten 2-1 at home by Thackley. In February, they had creditable draws with Staveley Miners Welfare, Cleethorpes Town and Albion Sports, so are a team to be respected on current form.
Worksop Town are away to Thackley on Tuesday and then on Wednesday, Handsworth Parramore face a tricky trip to Staveley Miners Welfare.
I will predict a narrow 2-1 home victory this evening for The Brewers.
