This Saturday the 1st XV travel to Bank of England, the current league leaders in Herts/Middx 1. Bank were relegated at the end of the 2015/16 season and them had successful campaign in Herts/Middx 2 to gain promotion, winning 17 of their 21 games and topping the table for both phases of the HM2 league.
Unbeaten in the first seven matches of 2017/18, Bank have scored an average of 34 points per match but have conceded an average of 20 and most recently beat Hendon 28-22. Their 47-5 victory over London French was the widest margin so far, with wins over UCSOB (24-21), Old Actonians (27-20), Royston (29-18), Watford (45-31) and Staines (38-24) being much closer results.
This match takes place at the Bank of England Sports Ground (off Priory Lane, SW15 5JQ) and supporters are advised that the ground may be very busy. If the on-site car parks are full then there is parking available on the local roads.
Kick off is at 2.30pm
