All three teams are in action for the first time this month with fixtures against Vagabonds (I.O.M), Lymm Eagles and Bury 3rd XV.

Let’s take a closer look at our opponents:

Lymm Eagles (3rd XV)
It is a repeat week for Bedians 2nd XV as they face Lymm Eagles away for the second week on the bounce, this time in the league.
Lymm ran out winners 40-15 last week and progressed to the cup quarter final to meet Anselmians in February 2019.
Bedians will be looking to avenge last week’s result and progress on in the league. Lymm capitalised on Old Bedians sluggish defence and coupled with some clinical finishing was the difference between the two sides last weekend.

The game kicks off at 3pm at Lymm RUFC, Crouchley Lane, Lymm WA13 0AS

Vagabounds
Based on the Isle of Man, Bedians are no strangers to a trip across the Irish Sea having faced Ramsey last season. This season they will have two trips to the Island to contend with as both Ramsey and Vagabonds are in the league.

Vagabonds have had a mixed bag of results this season recording two wins and two losses in the opening four games. Vagabonds last win was a 15-8 victory at home to Ellesmere Port. That victory will be the biggest indictor that Bedians face formidable opposition as Didsbury’s men record its only loss of the season against Ellesmere Port.

The game kicks off at 12.30pm at Old Bedians Sports Centre, M20 5QX.

Bury 3rd
Old Bedians 3rd XV make the short trip to face Bury 3s this Saturday.
The third team will be looking to build on last week’s performance in their narrow 22-17 loss to Heaton Moor 3s.
Bury sit just above Bedians in seventh place having won twice in the five opening games.
The two teams faced each other three times last season with Bury winning two of the three contests.

The game kicks off at 3pm at Bury Sports Club, Radcliffe Road, BL9 9JX.
