This week Old Cents entertain Reading Abbey at the Stade de Bridge in the first ever meeting of the two sides at any level.Last season Cents were relegated from National Three South and Abbey have been promoted into South East One after winning their league by a 10 point margin.
Last week Abbey lost at home to Newbury Blues and reading their match report it would appear that Newbury were stronger in the final quarter.Cents last week beat Abbey's neighbours,Reading,11-23 and this was mainly due to Cents superior Fitness in the last 30 mins after they turned round an 11-3 losing score line.
Cents have made several changes yet again because of unavailability and they have players returning who were not available last week.
This week Sam Smith is still not available,Dan Knapman is not available,we don't know if Craig Ballinger available and Alex Walters is still injured plus Ryan Townsend is suspended for one match.
Players returning are winger Lewis May,Centre Shay Morgan and Flanker Michael Mathers.Club Capt Scott Fritchley also returns but he has placed himself on the bench along with Josh Phillips who also comes onto the bench.Otherwise the side remains the same as for the Reading match with Centre Ollie Locke and Prop Dan Hayes keeping their places after solid matches last weekend.
This weekends match is sponsored by Eddie Pinkney,Mark Powell and Andy Fritchley also Cents Vice President are also gatering as well plus there will be club and Team photo's before the the match.
