The Eagles are back in action on Saturday afternoon, as they host 17th placed Rossington Main at the Mitton Group Stadium.
Eccleshill go into the game following a week off, with their last outing resulting in an assured and confident 5-1 win at home over Dronfield Town.
Rossington also go into the game off the back of a league win, after they pulled off a shock 3-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Hallam FC.
Despite the impressive win, Rossington have been going through an inconsistent spell, but have improved since the tail end of last year, which saw them win only once in the league throughout November and December.
The Doncaster based side have improved vastly in the beginning of 2017, winning three of their five games in January in a bid to secure safety in the league, and begin climbing the table.
Eccleshill are also looking to improve, and have recorded back to back league wins for the first time since October after their emphatic win over Dronfield. The Eagles haven't recorded three consecutive league wins since the first three match days of the season back in August, a stat the Bradford side will look to rectify on Saturday.
Sean Regan's men have been playing some good football and have looked solid recently, as they look to potentially make a late push for the promotion spots.
Matty Waller has been a pivotal part of the late season turnaround for The Eagles, as he has put some scintillating displays in over the last few games to help push his side up the league table.
The 5-1 win over Dronfield is a warning sign for Rossington, as the game featured five different scorers for Eccleshill United. The Eagles are firing on all cylinders and have begun finding their rhythm, something the visitors must be wary of.
The Eagles find themselves sitting in 11th place following a poor spell towards the end of 2016, but they will be well aware that only one point separates them from 9th placed Selby, as they try to put some pressure on the teams above them.
Rossington will also be looking to climb the table, as their recent form has put an 11 point gap between them and the drop zone. Now they will be looking to climb further up the table and stabilize their league position.
Eccleshill want to build a winning streak as we approach the business end of the season, but Rossington are more than capable of stopping that progress, something that Sean Regan’s side must be aware of.
With both sides looking to secure three points for their individual battles in the league, the game is finely poised and promises an entertaining spectacle.
