The Eagles are set to host the current league leaders in Eccleshill United's first home fixture of the new campaign.
After a thrilling six goal encounter on the opening day of the season saw Sean Regan's side come away from Yorkshire Amateurs with a share of the spoils, the Eagles will be looking to do one better in its first home fixture of the season.
For the first time in the 2017/18 NCEL Division One campaign the Mitton Group Stadium will play host to Shirebrook Town.
Eccleshill United looked impressive during the opening weekends draw against Yorkshire, particularly offensively where the trio of Marcus Edwards, Chris Lever and Luke Harrop showed just how dangerous they can be.
Last season's top goal scorer, Harrop found the back of the net twice last weekend, starting his personal campaign in a positive manner; something he will be aiming to continue this Saturday.
It wasn't just the attacking trio who flourished against Yorkshire either, with Jonny Irving picking up where he left off at the end of last season, scoring a dramatic late goal to earn Eccleshill its first point of the season.
Despite dropping a two-goal lead, Regan's side showed its fighting spirit by coming back into the game against one of the leagues toughest opponents.
Now back on the fantastic Mitton Group Stadium surface, Eccleshill will be hopeful of earning its first victory of the season and immediately climbing the table.
Earning three points will not be a simple task however, as opponents Shirebrook Town currently sit at the top of the NCEL Division One after two impressive victories. Having only conceded one goal and scored six, the visitors have started the season in convincing fashion and will bring plenty of confidence and momentum to the weekend's fixture.
Shirebrook's danger man, Kieran Watson has started the season incredibly well, netting four goals already and will be someone that Sam Bradley and his defensive partners will need to marshal tightly throughout the game.
Kick-off takes place at 3.00pm with prices set at:
Adults- £5
Concessions- £3
