The Eagles make the long trip to Ollerton Town on Saturday afternoon, hoping to record their sixth consecutive win in the league, and move further up into the play off spots.
Ollerton go into the game on a run opposite to Eccleshill's, having lost their last four games, three of which were in the league. Their last outing was a 4-0 defeat away at Westella & Willerby in the FA Vase, which Ollerton will want to put right on Saturday.
Eccleshill will approach the game full of confidence, after they came back from 2-0 down to claim all three points at home against Swallownest last weekend.
Sean Regan's side will want to keep their run going as they look to stay in and around the play off spots, following an inconsistent start to the season. The Eagles' form has improved drastically as of late, which Ollerton will no doubt know.
The two meetings between these sides last season produced eight goals. The Eagles came back from 2-0 down at home to defeat Ollerton 4-2, but were comfortably beaten 2-0 away later in the season.
Nottinghamshire based side Ollerton currently sit in 13th place in the league, recording 14 points after 11 games. This places them seven places below Eccleshill, but only five points separate the sides.
Since recording four consecutive wins at the start of the season, Ollerton's form has dipped, and they have struggled to gain that consistency back. However, they will be looking to rectify this on Saturday and The Eagles will likely face a stern test.
New signing Antony Brown made his Eccleshill United debut last Saturday, coming off the bench to great effect against Swallownest.
He will be looking to pick up where he left off, and will be aiming to impress new manager Sean Regan even further, if called upon.
Both sides have been scoring goals in their matches so far this season, so the game promises to be an interesting watch, but The Eagles will hope they have what it takes to edge it and keep their recent fantastic run going.
