The Eagles are back in action on Saturday as Eccleshill United hosts Dronfield Town at the Mitton Group Stadium.
Sean Regan's side head into the game with plenty of momentum and will be looking for a ninth consecutive victory to continue an undefeated November. An impressive run that has seen the Eagles move to within just two points of league leaders, Knaresborough Town.
Eccleshill is coming off the back of a very closely fought win over fellow promotion hopefuls, Hallam FC, which will only boost the confidence of the squad ahead of this weekend's test.
Regan will be forced to make at least one change from the side the defeated Halla, with Chris Lever serving his one-match suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards. Whilst both Anil Singh and Tom Rose are still unavailable due to injury.
However, the side should be boosted by the return of top goalscorer, Jonny Irving, after missing the last four games through suspension and illness. As well as the creative midfielder, captain Sam Bradley is also set to return to the squad after missing the Hallam fixture through injury, meaning the squad will have plenty of strength in depth.
Eccleshill hasn't been short of goals in Irving's absence though, with Antony Brown finding his shooting boots having scored four goals in his last three appearances for the club, something he will be aiming to continue on Saturday.
Linking well with both Luke Harrop and Ben Hardy, Brown has managed to use his physical approach to cause defenders major headaches and the attacking trio will be aiming to continue that against Dronfield.
But it isn't just the attacking side of the game where the Eagles are currently soaring, with Regan's side heading into this match on the back of three consecutive clean sheets and seven in the last eight games, an incredible record.
This game, much like the previous will be another tough test for Eccleshill as Dronfield also head into the game with great confidence on the back of two wins against Play-Off chasing opponents.
The visitors have been on good form, defeating Hallam (4-1) and then Campion (3-1) proving that they have no problem finding the back of the net or causing an upset against one of the leagues top sides, something Eccleshill will be wary of.
