After 2 wins from 2 Ipswich SEVEN Hockey Club welcome Cambridge City 2's on Saturday, for a 2.30pm start at Tuddenham Road.
The home side have been in good form and will be looking to continue their undefeated start to the season but coach Mariette Rix has had to make some enforced changes to the squad. Meg Dawson, Mary Sacker and co-captain Lucy Dunnett are unavailable but Beth Scott is recalled to the squad and hopes are high that Micha Knowles will also be fully fit.
Ipswich opponents have had a good start to their first 2 games in the Premier League. Only narrowly losing to Norwich Dragons and then last Saturday beating City of Peterborough. Ipswich will be expecting a tough test and coach Rix will be looking for the home side to take their chances early on.
"In the last 2 games we have created a lot of goal scoring opportunities" said Rix "We are taking some of them but if we can be just a bit more clinical we will make the game so much easier for ourselves."
Entry to the game is free and spectators are very welcome.
