We welcome Rosslyn Park to Silver Leys for the first time this weekend and our visitors will be looking to overturn the defeat they suffered in a ding dong match early in the season.
It is hard to get any useful form lines in the absence of match reports on Park's website, but they come to us on the back of two wins out of their last three games (at home to Moseley and Esher), sandwiching a battling draw at Blackheath. This suggests that their 12th position in the league is misleading and the way that they fought back in the second half against Esher also indicates a strong fighting spirit - though the 37 points conceded might indicate defensive issues. Their team last time out bore very little resemblance to that faced in our previous encounter, so little to be drawn from that either.
Stortford, after an enforced prolonging of the Christmas break by last week's postponed match at Plymouth, will be raring to go and the extra week will hopefully have allowed a couple of niggling injuries to have cleared up. COYB!
