This week, Stortford welcome another great, historic club in Birmingham Moseley.
Reading preseason comments on their website, our visitors will be disappointed with their 8th place in the league, one place and 6 points behind Stortford - the difference effectively being our narrow victory up their in October. They are, though, undoubtedly a strong club - one recruit this season having been Brendon Snyman, a 33 year old South African second row who has done the rounds of South African sides, played a while in France and last season was player-coach at Coventry. Their pack appears to be particularly powerful, so our eight will need to be on their toes. The anticipated returns from injury of Will Roberts, Dec Caulfield and, possibly, Mark McCraith to the squad could be particularly timely, therefore.
Like Coventry a couple of weeks ago, Moseley are bringing a coach-full of spectators, so their side won't want for touchline support, but it is to be hoped that we again have a good crowd to give our side an important lift, for what is likely to be a very tough game. COYB!
