This Saturday the Cherry & Whites play their final home match of what has been a very successful first season back in the National leagues when they entertain Lydney.
Although the chance of a play off place is still mathematically possible it's very unlikely, Camborne still want to finish the season on a high and they'll be going all out to pick up maximum points from their final two matches.
Last week Lydney defeated Launceston to end their relegation worries, so they will come to the REC with nothing to lose, which could mean they play with much more confidence and carry more of a threat. Camborne will be hoping to complete the double over the Gloucester club in front of a decent sized crowd in what should be ideal conditions on a superb playing surface.
Team News;
David Mankee, Jon Drew and Damien Cook picked up knocks at Brixham but all trained well on Thursday so should be ok for the match. Rhoderi Mcatee should be available after missing the loss in Devon, but with Matt Blee and Josh Semmens in good form and Roko Kurusasa also in the mix selectors have difficult decisions to make. In the front row Andrius Zacharovas did well when coming on for the last quarter at Brixham and has been selected to start for Cornwall on Monday so will be hoping to get a rare start for Town.
With James Goldsworthy (inj), Ben Kemp (inj), Tony Whittle (inj), Sam Matavesi (unav), Cameron Bone (inj), Martin Goldsworthy (inj) Ben Drew (inj) and Neil Stanleick (inj) all out Camborne's back 5 options are limited. Fortunately for Town Ashley Lawton and Martin Woolcock are in very good form at present and with the possibility of Jim Kava being available for the final weeks of the season we should be fine.
The team will not be confirmed until Saturday so we've just got a squad listed for the match.
The players have asked if the supporters can get together infront of the grandstand at the end of the match so they can thank everyone for their support.
