Ivybridge face Camborne with both teams are looking to banish their relegation fears.
The Cherry & Whites are hoping to finally put any relegation worries to bed in today's mid-table clash at Ivybridge. With the hosts looking to do the same it should be a real ding-dong battle up at their Cross-in-Hand ground.
Ivy will be trying to complete a rare double over Camborne following a convincing win at the REC earlier this season. The visitors are in much better form now having won five in a row and with a number of key players back from injury, so will be hoping to avenge that defeat.
When the teams last met Ivybridge were struggling near the foot of the table and showed the kind of fighting spirit you'd expect from a side in that position.
Our coaches have worked hard with the squad in recent weeks to ensure they not only start games away from home well but also keep their foot on the gas for the full 80 minutes. With former Cornish Pirates wing Rhodri Mcatee in great form at present the backline are carrying much more of a threat and with the National 1 experience of Damian Cook in the pack the backs are having a much greater share of the ball.
But it's probably Camborne's defence which has been the biggest contributor to their recent form. Only Champions Dings have conceded less points than 'Town' and as they found at the REC a few weeks ago it takes a lot to break down the Cherry & Whites well drilled team.
