Durham and Northumberland 2 leaders Acklam will be hoping to keep their 100 % record when they entertain a Sunderland side which has struggled so far this season.
They are able to name an unchanged forward pack but availability and injury issues mean another reshuffle for the backs. Scrum half Chris McRobert is available again so Danny Ashton moves to outside centre, with Len Hogg playing stand off and Chris Walker reverting to inside centre. Brad Gator moves to full back and Josh Abraham comes in on the wing for his first start of the season. Acklam also have an outstanding bench to call on comprising Jamie Bowtell-Potter, Paddy O'Brien and Ricky Scott.
Acklam captain Ben Pearson commented : "After a hard earned 5 points away to Sedgefield last week we're aiming to get back to more free flowing rugby at home. We've been forced into a few changes in the backline with Andy Dunn and Marcus Sudron unavailable and Paul Roberts recovering from his injury last week. None the less we are happy that the team will get the job done, with a strong bench to add impetus when required.
