Old Gs welcome Erith to Bronte View this Saturday for a Kent 2 league clash. Old Gs come into the fixture full of confidence following big wins over Lordswood and Askean. Their opponents, despite being at the foot of the table, will be hopeful of springing a major upset. Old Gs will have to produce a good performance to take away 5 points from the fixture as they edge closer and closer to promotion back to Kent 1.
There are minimal changes to the side that won away at Askean last week. The front row of Brett Buckingham, Noel Hartley and Paul Mitchell remains in place. As does the regular 2nd row pairing of Frazer Barnes and Andy Morris, who will keep each other warm and comforted til death they do part, with hugs and cuddles in the engine room. The back row is also unchanged following a great performance last week, with Steve Millar, Ollie Goodchild and Chris Daniels at 6, 7 and 8 respectively.
Mike Hodge and Matt Holdstock will again look to get the backline moving from 9 and 10, with Ricky Harding and Matt Thompson in the centres. Top try scorer James Hood moves to the wing with mazy runner Chris Johnson returning at full back. The pacy Ryan Lockyer completes the back 3.
The bench sees a return for the barrel Jack Nash, alongside other replacements Chris Bassett and Greg Humphreys.
With both 1s and 2s at home this weekend get down to the club for an afternoon of great Old Gs rugby.
