The league action continues on Saturday as the 1st team travel to Gillingham. With both teams bringing unbeaten records into the game, someones 0 has got to go!

Games between the two rivals are always entertaining affairs with Old Gs being on the wrong end of 2 tight games last season - including a single point defeat in this fixture. However after two good victories against Whitstable and Sheppey they go into the contest full of confidence and with a spring in their step.

Always physical, with a powerful pack and pacy backline, Gillingham will be a huge test for Old Gs as they look to continue their winning ways.

Injuries have taken away a few prominent players for Old Gs from last weeks squad, with Brett Buckingham, Frazer Barnes and Ben Wadsworth all on the treatment table. However Old Gs show their blossoming strength in depth and still put out a highly competitive squad.

Lewis Moss, Matt Johnson and Paul Mitchell are in the front row, backed up by the engine room of Andy Morris and Joe Martin who replaces Barnes. The back row is unchanged in the form of Jack Nash, Andrew Kidd and Sam Baker.

Doug Wilson and Matt Holdstock are at 9 and 10. Mike Hodge comes in for the stricken Wadsworth at 12, where he is partnered in the centres by Matt Thompson. Mat Wilson and James Hood are on the wings where they will be expertly marshalled by full back Chris Johnson.

The replacements are Ash Bourne, Richard Parish and Ryan Lockyer.
