After 4 of the last 5 games away, Church return back to Lye Meadow this weekend, to play a resurgent Peterborough Sports side.
After beating Frickley Athletic away on Tuesday, Church jumped to 2nd in the table on 55 points from 27 games.
Peterborough Sports currently lie in 14th position on 32 points from 31 games.
However, after losing 12 from 14, Peterborough have won 4 and drew 1 their last 7 games, and winning 3 of their last 4, beating Newcastle Town (1-0), Frickley Athletic (3-2), Belper Town (4-0) and only narrowly losing to Chasetown (5-4), so will be no pushovers.
The first game this season at Peterborough, ended in a 1-3 away win for the Church, courtesy of a Danny Dubidat hat-trick.
Having scored 49 in league this season (one less than Church), they have conceded 60, with only Loughborough (63) and Romulus (74), conceding more, so it promises to be a game with goals I think.
Mark Jones (15) is their top goal scorer.
Church must not think they have done the hard work drawing at Stamford and beating Frickley away, as all games are potential banana skins unless you are on your game. Margins are tight, so Church need to be up for it as much as they were up for Stamford and Frickley.
