Another disappointing day for Ellistown and Ibstock Utd as they were outplayed by a Barrow side who would have been disappointed to have only scored 4.
You knew at 10 to 3 this was not going to be our day as the dressing room only contained 10 players. Luckily the remaining players turned up with seconds to spare and no time to warm up.
This showed as Barrow took control from the 1st whistle and the only question was how long it would take to score the 1st. Well the answer was 9 minutes.
Sam Beaver scored when the ref over ruled the linesman and allowed play to continue after a Barrow offside. Sam took advantage by scoring from close range.
BT 1-0 EIBS
The second came on 27 minutes when Michael Hendry scored from close range.
BT 2-0 EIBS
We made it to half time with no further goals and credit to the lads for hanging on and trying to play football.
BT 2-0 EiBS HT
The second half continued from the 1st with Barrow taking control and EIBS trying to play football but the final ball letting us down.
Mussa Bhan was introduced on 55 mins and he gave us pace on the flanks and his dribbling unsettled Barrow. It was crucial we scored next but it was not to be as Marc Schulz curling cross on 63 minutes went straight in.
BT 3-0 EIBS 63 mins
Barrow added a fourth on 75 mins through Zak Ginvert and while we threaten on a couple of occasions it was Barrow who looked likely to score again.
BT 4-0 EIBS 75 mins
The final whistle went with the final score.
BT 4-0 EIBS
