A great end of season match that sums up Ellistown's season as we race into a 3-0 lead before doing our best to gift Sileby a point.
Ellistown rocked up at a very impressive Sileby Town looking to finish the season with a flourish.
We started well and had Sileby on the back foot and only wayward finishing and great goalkeeping from Matt Beaker stopped Ellistown taking the lead before Jovan Gordon on 23 mins, went round the goalkeeper to roll the ball into an empty net.

We then cut loose as a quick double from Mohamed Soumah on 39 and 42 mins saw Ellistown end the 1st half 3-0 in the lead.

While our attacking play rightly took the plaudits, special mention goes to Joshua Rock who had the Sileby attackers in his back pocket.
Those who followed us all season, all knew we needed a 4th to finish the game off as Ellistown would come out for the 2nd half with their deckchairs and pint of lager in hand.
We were proved right as goals from Grant Ryder and Piers Wheeler brought Sileby back into it.

With deck chairs folded away and the drinks placed at one side and a Chairman ready to burst a blood vessel, Ellistown started to play football again as we took control of the game and should have put the game to bed.
With Julian Waho comfortable in goal, Sileby never got close to scoring an equaliser and the cheers went up from the away support as the final went with the final score.

Summary
We never do anything the easy way. Well done lads on ending the season with 2 straight victories.
