This game proved that the Senior League is a tight league with no easy games.
Form going into this game pointed towards an Ellistown win but Friar Lane had other ideas.
Lane controlled the game from kick-off to final whistle and credit to Town weaken by suspension of Zak Adams they never gave up but could not get into the game.
Friar Lane took the lead when old boy James Hogan bullet header from a corner gave Warwick Miller no chance. Credit to James as he never celebrated the goal.

Friar Lane scored the 4th on 65 minutes when Louis Finney Neckles went through our defence to finish with a crisp shot.

Friar Lane then took their foot off the peddle and let Town back in the game but we were unable to create any clear cut chances.
Positives for town in the last 25 minutes was a welcome return to the pitch for Tom Antill and a 5 minute debut to our Italian Goalkeeper Samuel Boschi.
