An Adam Poxon 94th minute winner break Kirby's hearts and seal a vital 3 points for Ellistown who go into a tough run in fixtures in good shape.
This game will be remembered by a fine goalkeeping performance from Kirby's goalkeeper Luke Simms. Luke was excellent as he stopped everything Ellistown could throw at him. He was only beaten by 2 penalties and a superbly executed corner routine.
This lad will be playing higher grade football very soon. Remember the name.
As expected, Ellistown started the game on the front foot and credit to Kirby who are having a tough season they defended in numbers and tried to hit us on the break.
Nerves were settled on 5 mins when a push in the back in the box resulted in a penalty that Mitchell Williams slotted home.

For reminder of the 1st half it was a case of Luke Simms keeping Kirby in the game and Ellistown ensuring they were switched on to the counter attack. At half time Mitch Williams should have had the match ball, instead it was still game on.

Summary
Well done to both teams who gave everything and I would not be surprised if Kirby go on a winning run and upset a number of teams.
For Ellistown, we had the luck and are in good shape to take on the top 3
