To the neutral fan this was a classic game of attacking football. To everyone connected with Ellistown, it's another 2 points dropped but we can take heart that the team bounced back 4 times from losing positions.

Second half started with Ellistown on the front foot and while Northfield were creating chances, we looked in control and it was no surprise on 70 mins Ben Windridge scored the goal that brought our 3rd equaliser.

We now had 5 mins to save the game and super sub George Wesley ensured we only needed 2mins as he smashed home the 4th and final equaliser on 87 mins.

The final 3 minutes seemed like 15 mins as Northfields created further chances and Keenan Tailby had to make some smart saves to keep us in it.
The final whistle went with both sides thinking they should have won.
