Inaugural Aimee's Award for Tackle of the Match

Evesham U12's unveiled 'Aimees Award' on Sunday, an award in recognition of defense, separate to the traditional man of the match, named after Aimee, a former long term player with the lads and fierce tackler herself. (The award was JB's idea however it would have been disappointing if Ed had broken with tradition and not promoted it as entirely his own work on Sunday ;o)

Aimee has gone on to focus on a very promising cycling career, with this weekly award her name will remain associated with the squad.

Aimee herself was down on Sunday, carefully scoring and counting the tackles in a notebook before picking the winner and presenting the handsome new trophy in person.

Fierce competition with so many committed tackles from all the lads in a great performance against Bredon, Hagrid was singled out for one particular tackle that pushed the poor Bredon player back further than he had travelled to get to the game in the first place.

Well done Hagrid.
Man of the Match this week was Oliver 'Slippery' Wycherley
