The club is actively involved in the Dragon Sports programme, providing children aged 7-11 opportunities to learn the game of cricket in a fun environment. Winning is not important, it's the taking part and enjoying it!

Sessions are fun and there is no emphasis on winning. The sessions are open to both boys and girls and take palce at the club on Friday evenings as part of the club's Under 9's programme.

In addition to this the club actively run sessions within the local Primary Schools (Cwmcarn, Abercarn, Waunfawr, Ysgol Cwm Gwyddon)

These sessions culminate with a festival which takes place at the Club's ground in the Summer.

All coaches of the junior section are ECB qualified and members of the ECB Coaches Association.
