On 6 May 2016 we had over 160 local pupils come together at Mineralwell Astro Pitch for this years primary Hockey Festival.
After 4 weeks of hockey coaching from Scottish Hockey coach Scott McNab the P7's put the skills they had learned to the test by participating in 6 a side games. The aim of the festival was to provide a positive and fun hockey experience for the pupils however there was also a competitive element with a winning school being determined.
The games were refereed by volunteer coaches from Aberdeenshire South Hockey Club and after a morning of competitive games Mill O Forest were determined winners with some very good performances from a number of their teams.
A big thank you to Kevin McNab from Scottish Hockey for organising arrangements on the day and well done to all involved!
