Following a slow start we deserving fell behind to a free header from a corner. Four Crosses looked lively going forward with plenty of movement and off the ball runners.
Against the run of play, David Anthony got free and cut the ball back for Adam Williams who’s late arrival gave him space to guide the ball into the bottom right hand corner.
We soon had a foothold in the game and soon we went 2 -1 up when Dave once again got clear and his drilled cross was met by Adam who nodded in from 5 yards.
Four Crosses can out quick in the 2nd half and were level within 2 minutes before taking the lead after 70 minutes, soft goals to concede from our point of view but something we can work on. We created one or two but nothing tested the away keeper.
As we pressed for a late equaliser, Crosses broke clear and with 3 against 2, put the game to bed.
We go again next Wednesday away to Waterloo Rovers
