After the departure of Steve and Mike, the Abermule fc committee have confirmed that Eifion Rees has become 1st team manager for the 2011/2012 season. Eifion was involved in the first Abermule side in the 70's and has been a keen follower of the side in recent years.

His appointment is coupled with the decision to enter a reserves side into the Montgomeryshire league and a manager’s position will be filled in the next week.
