Coaches at Abertillery Town Cricket Club have attended coaching courses which are run by the Cricket Board of Wales. The club currently offers a number of sessions for children aged 10-15. Each team have a minimum of two coaches and are supervised at all times.

Through the coaching courses they also attend a Safeguarding Children workshop and a First Aid course which is repeated every three years along with having an enhanced disclosure to be able to work with children. We have currently seven ECB Sport Leaders who are going to be working alongside coaches and gain experience for their development

The Qualified Coaches at the club are encouraged to join the ECB Coaches Association which has many benefits and covers them with insurance personally when coaching juniors or seniors.
