It was way too hot to play, but we did our best, but we were way off the pace...less so in the 2nd half, after Ed joined to prop up the wilting midfield.

We rallied a little in the 2nd half, but with a couple of chances squandered, our race was run once they bagged two more.

And that's the end of our 12th season!

We'll finish 9th (of 11). Too many injuries, too many games cancelled and the 9 week winter break didn't help either...oh yes, and some of us are getting way too old!

In all competitions and friendlies we won just 6 games, drew 2 and lost 16. We scored 51 and conceded 92!

In the league alone we conceded 80 goals, the second worst performance in 12 seasons, and we only have the shocking debut season, back in 2006/2007, to thank for that, when we contrived to let in 159 goals!

The final Wilhemus result is yet to be published, so don't know if they or RKAVV are champions.
