Great numbers for the first pre season game of the season on Friday night, with over 30 player attending to play against Malton and Norton. Special thanks to Malton and Norton for travelling on a Friday night to fulfil the fixture. It was important for lads to get some game time and some competitive rugby under their belts before the season starts proper.

Malton and Norton were clinical and everything they did was with purpose and they where well organised but also clinical in attack. It was a good test for our lads who stood up admirably in defence and made the visitors work hard for their tries.

Plenty of positives from the display and some areas of development for the remainder of pre season.

Numbers have been great for training with over 25 lads training regularly. Let’s keep this up and take into the game against Hartlepool on Saturday.
