Novos 7 Acklam 34
Acklam began the game with plenty of possession and with great handling in difficult conditions.
However, from a ball hacked through by Novos, Acklam failed to deal with it and Novos scored a converted try after 10 minutes of play.
Acklam soon recovered and were rewarded with two well taken tries from lively winger Danny Scott, with one converted by Danny Ashton.
Acklam continued to dominate in the second half with two tries from No.8 Shaun Potgieter, one a spectacular solo effort from Acklam’s 20 metre line, both converted by Danny Ashton, who added a further penalty.
Centre Josh Abraham completed what was a great team effort with a converted try 5 minutes from time to complete what was an excellent team performance from a hard-working Acklam team.
