Now that we have returned to training ahead of the 2021/22 season we are restarting our membership and registration process. Subscription was suspended for last season but the club is very appreciative of the fact that many players still paid their fees or donated to the crowdfunder.

The committee have decided to keep membership costs at their pre-COVID levels, therefore a playing membership will cost £120 for the coming season. Please be aware that membership is a one off fee for each season and not a prorata payment dependant upon the number of months a player is involved. The club will continue to allow monthly payment of subscriptions but the full amount is expected to be paid.

The club has costs in the region of £50,000 per year that are specifically related to rugby activities and these include, lighting, power, heating, maintenance, rugby equipment, players' food, travel, coaching, referees, physio, insurance, CB (Yorkshire) affiliation, etc.

Therefore, even if every adult and age grade player pays their subscriptions each year we cover only half of our costs. We are fortunate to have a great group of sponsors who cover some of the defecit but we are still reliant upon other income through the bar. Obviously the pandemic has curtailed our ability to generate income this way so it is more important than ever that players pay their subscriptions and if possible do so in full at the start of the season.

Due to some changes to the RFU registration process and the longer summer break for Age Grade their registration process will start later but the same principles apply to payment of subscriptions.

We are looking forward to competitive rugby and all that goes with the match day experience.
