In accordance with the constitution, the outgoing Committee have made a nomination for election to the role of President for the 2023/24 season whilst nominations are sought, from the club membership, for the following positions:

· Chairman*

· Honorary Secretary*

· Honorary Treasurer*

· Vice Chairman*

· Age Grade Lead*

· Committee Members (x6)

· Club Captain & 1st XV Vice Captain

· 2nd XV Captain & Vice Captain

· 3rd XV Captain & Vice Captain

Nomination sheets have been posted in the club bar near the big projection screen.

For full members who are unable to attend the AGM, proxy votes may be sent via email to the Honorary Secretary ( d.springhall@ntlworld.com ). Such proxies must be received by noon on Wednesday 3rd May to be considered and must provide the rights, either to another full member or the Chairman, to vote how they see fit.

Those proposing and seconding must be in attendance at the AGM otherwise the nomination will be invalidated.

To be considered for office, propose, second or indeed vote on proceedings you must be a ‘full’ member of Acklam Rugby Club for the 2022/23 season. For the avoidance of doubt, social, associate and age grade membership categories are not full memberships and do not carry voting rights. Memberships for the current season may be purchased prior to the AGM but the cut off for inclusion is noon on Wednesday 3rd May. Such memberships must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

Resolutions:

· Acceptance of minutes from 2022 AGM.

· Submission of P&L Account to 31st March 2023.

· Chairman’s review of the 2022/23 season.

· Election of Directors, President, Committee Members, and adult Captains & Vice Captains for the 2023/24 season.
