This week we face our first journey over to Teddington to face the Heart of Teddlothian Pumas, one of the tougher teams we faced last season ending up with honours even after an away loss followed by a hard fought home win.
They are physically big across the board and in our first encounter we became slightly overawed by their size and were too timid in tackling them. In our return fixture , the boys were fabulous really going toe to toe with them and coming away with a deserved 1-0 win.
The boys will need to be in good form again this week as the Pumas have fared well in the league to date. We need to be prepared to defend hard and to use what I feel is our superior technical ability rather than try to match them in physicality.
It should prove a challenging game I hope the boys enjoy and learn from.
See you Saturday, "come on the Harriers..."
