Beckenham Town opened their campaign with a narrow victory over Punjab United on Saturday winning by the odd goal in three. A late goal by Khalid Babakir ensured that the Rams would leave Bearsted with a share of the points although Manager Kevin Rayner will be looking for an improved performance.

This game is this season's local derby and the games between the two sides have seen honours shared so it promises to be a close encounter. It will also see the return of two players who made 71 appearances between them last season for the Rams. Rob Carter and Junior Kaffo both made starts for Becks on Saturday and it'll be good to see them back at Mayfield Stadium.

Both teams may also have one eye on Saturday's FA Cup clashes with both having home games to look forward to.
